The cottage has been in the family since the 1950s.

The original A-frame section was built at that time, then the addition was made later in the mid 1970s.

It is situated on a peaceful 1 acre island.

There is a small bridge that attaches it to Big Burnt Island which is government crown land.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8).

 

 

The 2020 season will be our fifth season renting the cottage, and we are excited to make it available again for another year!

The cottage is located at Bayfield Inlet, which is 1/2hr north of Parry Sound.

It is a scenic drive going north on highway 400, which turns into highway 69.

Just after you pass Pointe au Baril, you will see highway 529 on your left. One

more left on 529A and you're at Thompson's Marine.

The marina that you will park at is called Thompson’s Marine. There will be prepaid parking for two vehicles, and the marina will charge daily parking for any additional vehicles.

The cottage rental comes with a boat and motor. I will meet you and your group at the marina, and then guide you over to the island and help you unload the boats.

It is about a 10-15 minute ride by boat from the marina to the island.
